Goodbye, June

June went fast! Rose graduated another level in gymnastics. She has practiced her routines diligently in the backyard almost every day and really pushes herself to improve. We weren't supposed to take pictures, but whatever:

Our camping trip with the Kell's had to be rescheduled thanks to the 101-105 heat index the last weekend of the month, so we went to Happy Joe's instead and the girls all had a sleepover. We'll try again in July.

The network of biking trails around CR are ever growing and I'm excited about the Mt Trashmore trails which will open in July. So far I've put well over 1,000 miles on my bike and it's still going strong. Not bad for a Target bike!

Easter 2018

The hunt! It was cold (33º) and very windy, so Rose and Emily didn't waste time trying to find all 50 eggs:

February for the Rest of Your Life

"Okay, campers, rise and shine, and don't forget your booties 'cause it's coooold out there today."

Yup, February. Lots of snow, lots of sledding. It was not a bad month, as Februaries go. A good month for reading books and planning home improvement projects.

Goodbye to the old Sinclair meatpacking building... that was a good photography spot. One more dilapidated landmark gone. We happened to be a few blocks away when it caught fire and took some cool video of it, too.
